Oracle Database Technologies is hiring a Software Development Manager in Morocco for the AI App Dev Platform team. This is an engineering management position for someone with a strong software development background, experience shipping mission critical production software, and the leadership skills to help engineers and teams grow.
The manager will have direct technical impact on Oracle Database MLE through feature development, sustaining, release line support, QA coordination, performance validation, and GraalVM upstream coordination. At the same time, they will help strengthen the Casablanca engineering organization by supporting local engineers, maintaining organizational standards, partnering with project leads, and building a strong local engineering culture.
The role also includes helping the team use modern AI-assisted engineering practices effectively and responsibly. The manager will help evolve standards for using agentic coding and AI across the software development lifecycle while preserving the rigor required for enterprise database software.
**Ideal candidate profile**
The ideal candidate combines deep engineering credibility with strong people leadership. They have experience developing and shipping mission-critical production software, can engage senior engineers on architecture and technical tradeoffs, and are comfortable contributing directly to technically demanding work.
They can lead a product engineering team through ambiguity, delivery pressure, quality expectations, and cross-team dependencies, while also supporting a broader local engineering community. They should be able to represent the team effectively across Oracle's global engineering organization, build a collaborative local culture, and help evolve modern engineering practices, including responsible use of AI-assisted development across the SDLC.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial work on complex production software.
+ **Strong hands-on technical background in Java and C development.**
+ Prior experience managing or formally leading software engineers.
+ A good understanding of one or more of the following areas: systems programming, database systems, runtime systems, distributed systems, or comparable infrastructure software.
+ Experience with coaching, feedback, performance management, career development, and delivery accountability.
+ Ability to lead engineering work across feature development, sustaining, quality, and release delivery.
+ Familiarity with agentic coding tools and practical uses of AI in the software development lifecycle.
+ Strong communication skills and experience working with distributed engineering, QA, release, support, product, or partner teams.
**What You Will Do**
+ Lead and contribute to Oracle Database MLE engineering: directly manage MLE developers and actively contribute to feature development, sustaining, bug fixing, and release-line support for a shipping Oracle Database product feature.
+ Drive execution and prioritization: balance roadmap work, customer-impacting issues, internal engineering needs, and release requirements.
+ Own quality and release readiness: improve planning, code quality, testing, performance validation, regression prevention, and delivery predictability.
+ Evolve AI-assisted engineering practices: define practical team standards for using agentic coding and AI across the software development lifecycle.
+ Coordinate across Oracle engineering: work closely with Oracle Database QA, Release Engineering, Support, GraalVM, and partner development teams to resolve issues and deliver reliably.
+ Support and grow the Casablanca engineering organization: provide local management support for engineers across Database Technologies projects, partner with dotted-line project managers, maintain local standards, coach engineers, and strengthen the local engineering culture.

As a data center facilities Operations manager, you will independently support the reliability, efficiency, and lifecycle performance of mission-critical mechanical, electrical, CCTV, Fire protection (SSPI), Access control system, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems essential to the smooth operation of hyperscale data centers.

You will participate in incident management and root cause analysis, contribute to maintenance planning and commissioning activities, and identify opportunities to improve the reliability, maintainability, and efficiency of technical systems.

+ Independently, in collaboration with the COLO, ensure the monitoring and control of operations, inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, CCTV, and SSPI systems.

**Skills and Competencies**
+ Strong understanding of the facility's components and their operating parameters.
+ Detailed knowledge of data center operating environments and the four key constraints on operational efficiency (power, cooling, IT, and space), as well as the necessary operational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements based on legislation, standards (national and international), and codes of conduct.
+ Good operational judgment in the event of alarms, abnormal situations, maintenance activities, and high-risk operational scenarios.
+ Strong sense of responsibility and accountability in day-to-day operations.
+ Clear communication of technical issues, findings, corrective actions, and operational risks.
+ Strong safety mindset and strict adherence to procedures, lockout/tagout measures, and safe work practices.

Le/La Responsable Santé, Sécurité et Environnement (SSE) est rattaché(e) à la Direction des Ressources Humaines. **CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Detailed SG&A analysis including department budgets by preparing monhtly tracker for actuals and performance vs plan
+ Follow up on monthly payments to vendors/suppliers and assure timely settlements for Abbott dues
+ Assist the FP&A manager in the performing weekly reporting "sales flash, LBEc"
+ Assist the FP&A manager in the performing month end close "actual reporting, preparing monthly reports (F.1.0., etc)
+ Assist the FP&A manager in the preparation of cash flow plan, LBEs'
+ Monitor monthly cash flow results and prepare comparison vs different scenarios
+ Track receivables and communicate with distributors to make sure payments are done timely.
**KEY SUCCESS FACTORS:**
