Coordinating and controlling of all customs processes and procedures:

- Execute all activities and ensure proper customs-related processes according to the legislative requirements and ensure that all processes are set in a secure way to avoid compliance problems.
- Continuous analyses of the legislative change regarding the customs regulations in order to make sure the company is working in line with the legislative requirements.
- Continuous support and coordination of the import export clerks in their daily activities regarding the customs procedures.
- Continuous analyses of the customs regimes, tariff codes and customs procedures used on daily basis to ensure the customs duty payments on the maximally low level considering the legislative requirements.
- Communicate with the customs officers and brokers daily and provide them with all necessary information and documents to support fast customs clearance and precise execution of Toll manufacturing processes.
- Participation in continuous analyses of the customs duty payments to keep them on the budgeted level and ensure their continuous optimization.
- Coordination of the companies providing customs clearance services.
- Participation in representing the company's interests at governmental institutions in the topics related to its export-import operations.
- Driving continuous improvement activities to ensure continuous transport and duty cost optimization.
- Ensure smooth material flow within the shortest lead-times.

Other functional responsibilities:

- Collaboration with other subdepartments of the logistics department in the plant internally.
- Collaboration with other departments of the plant internally.
- Communication and collaboration with other Gentherm plants representatives and units word wide regarding the export and import topics as a representative of the residence plant
- Support of the Raw material planning and Customer service subdepartments regarding the import and export topics
- Support of the finance departments regarding the data for import and export daily activities and reports of the financial department

Other tasks and responsibilities:

- Knowing legal rules related to position, internal principles, documents.
- Keeping safety and labor safety rules
- Knowing internal guidelines, procedures and work instructions and ensuring daily work in accordance with these requirements.
- Preparing and updating instructions and guidelines related to the department processes.
- Participating in required training.
- Providing training for new and existing team members in the shipping subdepartment for topics related to import and export area.
- Providing training for new employees in the logistics department for topics related to import and export areas.
- Executing tasks and directives given by direct line and upper-level management.
- Ensuring 5S standards in department and related workplaces and halls.
- Participating in continuous improvement processes according to the standards of the company.
