**What will I be doing?**
As Reservations Supervisor, you oversee the Reservations Team and how it performs routine procedures in order to maximise revenue and Guest satisfaction. The Reservations Supervisor will work with the Reservations Team to develop future and repeat business opportunities. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
+ Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Reservations Department
+ Manage telephone, fax and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times
+ Understand seasonal and historical trends and work within them to ensure maximum occupancy and average room rates
+ Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue
+ Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients
+ Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business
+ Ensure Team Members are developed effectively, maintain a thorough understanding of hotel facilities and processes, and generate a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts
+ Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate, and Reservations policies and procedures are followed to ensure Guest satisfaction
+ Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Reservations Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork
+ Assist in the recruiting, managing, training and developing of the Reservation team

About the Role
The Reservations Coordinator will support and be a key member of the G Adventures Reservations team by completing the day-to-day reservations duties throughout Europe, Middle East & North Africa. This role is ultimately responsible for ensuring that all reservations tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest possible standard, attention to detail, customer service, teamwork and outstanding communication skills are key to the success of this role.
This is a hybrid role based out of Marrakesh.
What you'll be doing:
- Accurate completion of all required validations, reservations, last minute request/changes tasks, cancellations actioned in a timely manner.- Ensure systems and tools (e.g. Block Sheet, Validations) are accurate, report any issues to relevant manager.- Ensure suppliers understand and follow our required processes.- Administrative support for the Global Sales and Base Camp Operations teams (answer enquiries, handle tasks as required etc).- Ensure last minute booking requests and changes are handled and communicated efficiently.- Work on special projects as required.- Supporting reservations managers (and others) to negotiate reduced cancellation charges from suppliers.- Assist the finance department with invoice queries and related tasks.- Answering phones in a prompt, professional and polite manner-
- Delegate & monitor inboxes.
Skills & Experience- 1+ years experience in the travel industry- Computer skills (ideally familiar with Google suite)- Highly proficient in English both written and spoken- Familiarity with Travel Industry Practice- Excellent Customer Service & Attention to Detail- Be resourceful, a good listener and ability to learn quickly- Problem Solving/Complaint Resolution- Decision Making Skills- Excellent verbal & written communication skills- Team Player, be self motivated and Goal orientated- Well Organised, Flexible, Co-operative Approach- Good time management skills
