**Job Description**

Oracle Morocco Research & Development is devoted to research is looking for a Tech Lead & Technical Software Engineering Manager. As a tech lead manager within our development team in Casablanca (Morocco), you will apply your knowledge of application development, cloud, distributed systems, and software architecture to manage tasks associated with developing, operating, troubleshooting, and debugging applications and/or cloud services.
As a manager within the software engineering division you will manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. You will also apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. + Lead innovative solutions in the areas of services, observability, resiliency, scalability, and code quality.
+ Improve processes and project management, sprint management, and code quality to help the team operate efficiently.
+ Provide technical mentorship on the design, implementation, and support of new and existing services.

**Required skills:**
+ +6 years of experience managing or leading a team of software engineers, ideally delivering large-scale systems in production.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**
In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As a Project Manager you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.

Your primary responsibilities include:
Participate in all aspects of a project and have the dual ability to maintain the broad vision necessary to execute a project, including strategic thinking and leadership.

Oversee the complex details of a project from conception to launch.

Thoroughly understands the client's business, industry, business model, organizational trends, and customer needs to deliver relevant digital marketing solutions.

Partners with teams to recommend and determine appropriate project delivery models (waterfall and/or agile practices) and determine project engagement type (Retainer, Fixed Fee, Time and Materials).

Facilitate the creation of accurate project plans with clearly defined milestones, deliverables and tasks.

Work with department SMEs to determine department level deliverables and create resource allocation/staffing plans for the project life cycle.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
3+ years experience in a similar position

3+ years experience with IBM Design Thinking, Agile, and projects management.

Fluency in French and English
