**Job Summary**
We are looking for a responsible Quality Control Inspector based in Fez, Morocco to verify handmade tile at various stages of production and manage suppliers to meet ongoing continuous improvement targets related to quality, lead time and overall performance metrics.
The primary responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector are to inspect and document work in process and finished goods in detail and verify finish, color, quality and dimensions are all within acceptable tolerance. Additional responsibilities include inspecting shipping materials for compliance with specifications and verifying packaging and shipping materials and processes are optimized to assure accuracy and mitigate potential for damages.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor production processing via random factory audits
- Assist with problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results
- Audit and maintenance of compliance to required standards
- Provide detailed quality reports as required - daily, weekly, monthly, etc.
- Other duties as required
**Requirements**:
- Fluent in English, Arabic and French
- Ability to travel to multiple factories between Fez & Casablanca
- Flexibility to communicate with US counterparts from 8 am to Noon M-F, Pacific Time
- Proficient with software including the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
- Ability to listen well and to communicate simply and effectively
**Preferred Qualifications**
- 2+ years of quality control experience
- 2+ years of supplier continuous improvement experience
- Familiarity or expertise with handmade Moroccan tile

What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Achieves quality control operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans.
- Ensure that the work of the QC laboratories is carried out in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements and Pfizer quality systems PQS, as well as the documentation generated (test method, protocols, reports.).
- Assign material disposition (release or rejection) and participate, as appropriate, in the release of materials ensuring cGLP requirements are fulfilled.
- Ensure adequate planning of routine lab testing, stability testing and other lab related activities in adequacy of the established planning (e.g. investigation, analytical transfers and stability studies).
- Organize good working process in respect of compliance, performance, timing and costs by adequate management of resources (personnel, equipment and budgets).
- Accomplishes quality control human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, scheduling and coaching, employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- Pharmacist, Biologist, Chemist or related Science or discipline. At least 5 years in pharmaceutical industry, and 2 years in similar positions.
- A robust grasp of industry knowledge and business operations, such as financial basics, enterprise systems like payroll and inventory management
- Proficiency in administrative, managerial, and technical report writing skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer and presentation capabilities
- Experience in people management
- Knowledge of GLP and regulatory requirements
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- Certifications in Continuous Improvement or Project Management
- Familiarity with Local Environmental Health and Safety standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in motivating and developing team members
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
